SEIKO celebrates its 130th anniversary in Taipei

The luxurious Bellavita mall in Taipei was the latest venue for Seiko’s celebration of its 130th anniversary. In the opulent surroundings of the mall’s atrium, Seiko displayed its 130th anniversary collection, including the limited edition Grand Seiko series and the Ananta Automatic Chronograph introduced at this year’s Baselworld. Over 5,000 visitors explored the world of Seiko during the Bellavita event.

About 100 media people and more than five thousand people visited the event.
Mr.Ikukiyo Komatsu SEIKO’s master craftsman and the winner of World’s Skills Competition, demonstrated the assembly of Spring Drive movement, SEIKO’s unique technology.
Mr.Ikuo Tokunaga, a famous diver’s watch
engineer and author of watches, talked about
SEIKO’s diver’s watch.
Mr. Masayuki Hirota, a journalist of
“Chronos Japan”, talked about SEIKO’s history.
